Matthew Berler, PsyD
I am a clinical psychologist who utilizes a variety of techniques and interventions to help people who are struggling in their lives and relationships. Through a collaborative and active therapeutic approach, I aim to help my patients better understand what they are thinking and feeling and identify patterns of behavior that are getting in the way of reaching their goals.
I place a strong emphasis on the quality and value of the therapeutic relationship and work flexibility to meet the individual needs of those with whom I work. With empathy and compassion, I will help you develop a more balanced and positive relationship with yourself and others, creating space to make meaningful and lasting changes in your life.
My clinical experience includes specialized training in interpersonal and relationship difficulties, addiction/substance misuse, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, LGBTQ/queer identity development, death and dying, and grief.
